One thing you should consider is determine how long you will need the plan. You don’t want to pay for the monthly premiums in case you already have that permanent health insurance. Also, temporary health insurance plans can cover unforeseen accidents and other emergencies that will require hospitalization or medical treatments. However, you should always remember that this is not recommended for comprehensive health security.

If you have received your permanent health plan, you can always call the insurance company and tell them that you will cancel the short-term health insurance plan and is switching on a permanent health insurance plan.
